RIGHT NOW Somewhere, a fake store is taking orders in a real brand's name

Your customers can't tell the fake from you.

Someone cloned your store, put your photos on it, and started selling. They pocket the sales. You field the angry reviews and the refund demands. Provenstone finds the fakes using your name, shows you the evidence, and helps you shut them down.

Is this actually happening?

Yes, it's really happening. Even to brands your size.

Copying a brand is cheap, quick, and mostly unwatched. Here's the scale of it.

"We're too small to be a target." That's the reason it works. Fraudsters go after brands that aren't watching, because the fakes stay up and nobody files the takedown. The day your name is worth copying, someone copies it, and a growing brand is the easiest kind to catch off guard.

What it costs you

When someone wears your brand, you pay for it three times.

Lost revenue

The sale was yours. It went to them.

A shopper searches your name, clicks the store that looks just like yours, and checks out. To them, they bought from you. To your books, the sale never happened, and you never even saw it leave.

Broken trust

The anger comes back to you.

The order arrives fake, or never arrives at all. Then the one-star review, the "is this a scam?" message, and the refund demand all land on your brand. You get blamed for something you didn't sell.

"Ordered three weeks ago and nothing showed up. Now the site is gone and no one answers. Do not buy from this company."

A cheaper name

Your brand starts to look cheap.

Ten discount clones teach the market that your $60 product is a $18 gamble on a sketchy site. The premium you spent years building erodes, one fake listing at a time.

You can't watch the whole internet. The people copying you are counting on it.

New fakes go up while you sleep, on marketplaces and domains you've never heard of. Take one down and the same operator has it back next week on a new domain. Watching for all of it, by hand, is a full-time job nobody on your team has.

So Provenstone watches for you

From your domain to a takedown-ready case.

Step 1

We hunt, around the clock

Give us your domain and Provenstone hunts the look-alike domains and live storefronts using your name, and catches new ones the day their certificate appears, so nothing slips by while you run your business.

Step 2

We link the operator

Provenstone works out which fakes are likely one operation and gathers the evidence that ties them together, and tells you how sure it is. Ten scattered fakes become one case you can act on.

Step 3

You shut it down for good

Each case comes as a sourced, dated packet built for a marketplace or a lawyer to act on. And when that same operator tries to come back on a new domain, Provenstone flags the returning pattern.

Beyond the takedown

The takedown is only half the job.

Getting a fake removed is the easy part. What it already did, the sales it took, the customers it burned, the ad budget bidding on your name, is the part you're usually left to sort out alone. Provenstone helps with that part too, at a price a small team can actually afford.

See how exposed you are

For every fake, the facts we can stand behind: how long it's been live, whether it's taking payments, and the public complaints and reviews that trace back to it. No made-up loss figure, just what's actually out there.

Go after what you can recover

Where a marketplace, platform, or ad network has a process to claim reimbursement or report abuse, we hand you the evidence to file it. On Managed, we pursue it for you through those channels. What's recoverable depends on the platform and the case, and we tell you honestly which is which.

Win back the trust

We surface the public complaints, one-star reviews, and "is this real?" posts tied to a fake, so you can respond in the open, set the record straight, and turn a bad experience around. We surface what's public, never a private list of shoppers.

The evidence

We show our work.

Every finding links to a dated public source. It reads like a case file because it has to hold up to the marketplace or the lawyer who acts on it.

  • Public records only. Domain history, certificates, and what a store publishes itself. Nothing behind a login.
  • One operator, one case. The fakes that are likely one operation show up as a single case, so you're not left sifting a pile of alerts.
  • It remembers. Take one down and Provenstone watches for the same operator to resurface on a new domain.

Every plan begins the same way, with a scan. Pick the one that fits once you've seen what's out there. Managed is custom, so we shape it with you.

Cancel any day, and we refund the days you didn't use, to the day. On Watch, that holds from day one. On Investigate and Managed, the first month covers the full investigation we run and hand you up front, so it's earned once we deliver it; from the second month on, unused days come back to you the same way. No notice period, no cancellation fee, ever.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot.

Where does the data come from? Is this legal?
Public records and public pages only: domain registration, certificate history, and what a store publishes on its own site. No hacking, no logins, no scraping behind a password. It's the same material a lawyer would cite in a takedown.
How is this different from a Google Alert?
An alert tells you a word showed up somewhere. It won't tell you the store is on your photos, when the domain was registered, or that three of them trace back to one person. That connecting work is the whole product.
How do you know two fakes are the same operator?
Signals that are hard to fake by accident: reused checkout accounts, shared tracking IDs, the same phone number, matching registration patterns. We only draw a link on those, never on a shared host thousands of sites use, and you can open every source yourself.
We already use a brand-protection vendor.
Good, then you know the volume. Most tools hand you a feed of matches to work through. Provenstone does the investigating and tells you which ones are likely the same operator, so you decide on a handful of cases instead of reading hundreds of alerts. Run a free scan and compare.
What if I don't actually have a problem?
Then don't buy anything. Some brands run a scan, see nothing serious, and get on with their day. If that's you, we'll say so plainly. We would rather earn a customer who needs us than sell to one who doesn't, so the scan is honest even when the answer is "you're fine."
What if I cancel partway through the month?
Depends on the plan, and we say it plainly. On Watch, cancel any day and we refund the days you didn't use, to the day, from the start. On Investigate and Managed, the first month covers the deep investigation we run and hand you up front, so that month is earned once we deliver it; from the second month on, same deal, unused days refunded to the day, no notice, no fee. The first-month rule on the investigation plans keeps anyone from grabbing the whole investigation for a few days' pay and bailing.
What happens after the free scan?
You get a report of what we found, with sources. If it's useful, you pick a plan and we keep it running. If it isn't, you owe nothing and we part as friends.
